Zoe Cramer is a masters candidate in the program for creative nonfiction writing at Columbia University. In her work, she explores everything from her upbringing in Aspen, Colorado; her relationship to sex, cannabis, her family, and art; to the blurred line between performativity and authenticity found too often in New York City and especially among Gen Z.
In undergrad, she studied in the College of Letters at Wesleyan University and earned a certificate in writing. She focused her thesis on a full-length screenplay, and continues to venture in this realm of writing through more scripts and short plays.
In addition to writing screenplays, she has been exploring the BTS of films via production assistant work for major directors including Josh Safdie and Steven Spielberg. She's also conducted art direction for several short films. Her ideal career joins together her education in nonfiction writing with screenplay writing and her love for being on set.
